“IS NOT NULL” in CFQL

In CFQL, the SQL statement “IS NOT NULL” is “Exists”. There is no need to write raw SQL to test if a value exists in a method as we sometimes see in models. This can be done in full CFQL thanks to the Exists operator, this way keeping your model as platform independent as possible.

For more information on available CFQL operators check-out this article in our product documentation.
