How to get CodeFluent Entities new builds?

May 30, 2010 5 comments

Since march 2010, we have changed the way we license CodeFluent Entities. At the same time we also have changed the way you can download new builds of the product. New builds information is available using the “SoftFluent Licensing Client” tool which is shipped with CodeFluent Entities.

Here is a screenshot:

The tools lets you see:

  • Installed builds licenses. This information is stored on the running machine, stored with the logged on Windows user.
  • Online available builds. This is where you can get new builds information. You need to be connected to the internet for it to work.

Builds are sorted. The most recent build is the first in the list. If you click on a build number, you will see a ‘Download’ button. This is it! The download is actually a .ZIP file that contains two .MSI: the ‘CodeFluent ¬†Entities Core edition’ and the brand new beta ‘CodeFluent Entities Modeler Edition’ with Visual Studio integration.

Every online builds also have a change history. These are new features available and bug fixes. You can relate each work item reference with the reference our support team may have given to you. Note you can copy / paste work item history.

Hint: If you click on the “Online Available Builds” tree node, the tool will display the full list of changes for all builds.

Enjoy!
